Ultimate Beverage Challenge 91 points (Mar 2012) A terrific mix of sugary sweet corn and intense spiciness; like the buttery richness of brown sugar or pecan pie, bolstered with a touch of soot and grilled peaches. Potent and engaging, finally smooth and satisfying. Pleasantly sweet nose. Medium body and sticky-toffee flavor. This would be great mixed into cocktails, because the flavor is smooth but bold at the same time; it would blend without being completely lost. Finishes mellow, smooth, with just enough alcohol bite. Easy to like. Think Manhattans and Old-Fashioneds. — K.N.
