Crios Torrontes 2013

Crios Torrontes 750ML 2013
Sku: 8701

Tasting notes
Enticing aromas that are strikingly similar to Viognier, with hints of peach pit, flowers, and orange citrus fruit. On the palate, it has mouthwatering acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip and plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavors. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry, this wine has to be tasted to be believed. Best enjoyed in its youth either by itself, or as a wonderful partner with smoked meats, mild to medium-strong cheeses, and seafood. Keep one in the fridge at all times!

The 2013 Crios Torrontes comes from Cafayate in Salta and Altamira in Uco Valley, Mendoza, approximately 50/50. It is quite aromatic and showy, with notes of flowers, lime, spice (white pepper) and talcum powder, a crisp and light palate, as well as lively citric acidity and hints of pears and rose petals that remind me of a Gewurztraminer. A benchmark un-oaked Torrontes. Drink now-2016.
