Steve Tanzer 91 points (Jul 2009) Ruby-red. A strikingly fresh and complex bouquet displays scents of raspberry, blackberry, fresh rose, lavender and Asian spices. Racy acidity gives a tangy quality to the black raspberry and floral pastille flavors, which are impressively pure and focused. Silky tannins add grip to the long, sweet, palate-staining finish. As in most vintages, this is an outstanding value.
