Old vine originally from the area around Alba, grown on the lands to the left side of the Tanaro river where it was probably first grown. Its medium-sized leaves are palmate with 3 or 4 lobes. The bunch is either small or medium, pyramidal, often winged and quite compact. The grape is round and medium-sized. The skin is resistant, yellow-green with abundant bloom. It ripens towards the end of September.

Wine maker notes
ROERO ARNEIS Controlled Denomination of Origin The vine variety from which this wine originates is strong and has a constant crop without excess if grown in suitable soil. The result is a very fragrant white wine, pleasant and delicate. Best when young. This is the moment when its scented characteristics can be best appreciated. If well made and bottled soon afterwards, it can be aged for 1 or 2 years.
