3 day lead-time required to confirm availability Why?

Mas La Chevaliere is located just outside Beziers, in the Languedoc region of France. Founded in 1995 by Michel Laroche, of Domaine Laroche in Chablis, the estate’s 111 acres are planted on hillside terraces to maximize exposure to the sun. Mas La Chevaliere wines are sourced from two vineyards. The cool climate and marl-limestone soils of the Peyroli estate vineyard are ideal for growing white grapes. The red grapes are harvested from the Roqua Blanca estate vineyard, which has a warmer climate and is planted on limestone and dolomite soils. The diverse terroir and varietals in this region allow Michel to produce whites that are aromatic yet rich and reds which are ripe yet sinewy. Mas La Chevaliere is converting to organic viticulture.

Tasting notes
An unoaked Chardonnay with pungent aromas of lemonsand tangerines, followed by a bright and a zesty finish.

Technical notes
Chardonnay was sourced from Minervois, Beziers, Agde, Bedarieux, Montpellier and Nimes encompassing both the western and eastern Languedoc regions. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with daily pump overs, the wine aged six months in tank.
