Sku: 1831035

3 day lead-time required to confirm availability Why?

While Martinborough Vineyard is rightfully famous for its stunning Pinot Noir, the winery has also garnered kudos for its Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling. Located in the township of Martinborough in the southern Wairarapa, this beautiful property has been producing precise, elegant wines from cool climate vineyards since 1980. A true environmentalist, winemaker Claire Mulholland has helped turn Martinborough into one of New Zealandís finest producers.

Wine Advocate 91 points (Apr 2013)
The 2010 vintage had a very cool summer that left the grapes on the vines until a mid-April harvest. The resulting 2010 Pinot Noir is pale to medium-ruby color and has a core of red currant, pomegranate and wild blueberry with violets, cinnamon stick and peppercorns. The palate is medium-bodied and crisp, with a medium level of grainy tannins and a long finish. Drink it now to 2019.
