Started in 1870, Borie-Manoux is a family owned wine producer and trading house in Bordeaux. The wine was named Beau-Rivage, after the picturesque landscape along the Gironde and the Dordogne and the Garonne rivers The vines producing Beau-Rivage come from top AC Bordeaux vineyards, situated on the slopes between the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers. The mix of clay, gravel and sandy soils helps create the unique Bordeaux terroir, identifiable in Beau-Rivage. The Borie-Manoux team of oenologists make strict selections from these vineyard sites to produce a very consistent and value-driven Bordeaux wine. Beau-Rivage is one of the oldest brands in Bordeaux and for 60 years has been the benchmark for wines from this region.
